FAQs

How to take care of my jewellery?

- Keep your gold plated jewellery away from water, sweat, and any chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, and hair products
- Clean your jewellery regularly with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or oils that may have accumulated on the surface
- Before placing your jewellery in the jewellry bag, we recommend placing it in the air-tight bag provided to help prevent oxidisation
- Avoid wearing your gold plated jewellery while exercising or doing any strenuous activities as this can cause damage to the plating
- Remove your jewellery before showering, bathing, or swimming to avoid exposure to water and chemicals that can cause tarnishing

      Important Note:

Please use the silver polishing cloth provided for gold plated sterling silver jewellery only. To avoid damage to the delicate gold plating, we recommend using the cloth gently and avoiding excessive polishing.

For all other gold plated jewelley, we advise using a soft cloth and not polishing too often, as this may cause the plating to wear off over time.

How long will the gold plating last on my jewellry?

The longevity of the gold plating depends on various factors such as how often the jewellery is worn, the level of exposure to moisture or chemicals, and how well it's maintained. Generally, gold plating can last for a few months up to a few years. We recommend following our care instructions and avoiding exposure to moisture, chemicals, and excessive polishing to prolong the life of your gold plated jewellery.

Will my skin react to the gold plating?

Our gold plated jewellery is hypoallergenic and safe for most skin types. However, if you have particularly sensitive skin or a nickel allergy, we recommend avoiding gold plated jewellery altogether.
